What this site does and does not collect. The short version: nothing, because there is nothing here that collects anything.
Summary
This is a static site. Every page is a file generated at build time and served as-is. There is no server-side application, no database and no user account.
What is collected
Nothing. There is no analytics package, no tracking pixel, no advertising script and no third-party embed. No cookie is set. No IP address is logged by anything in this site’s own code, because there is no code running on a server.
Local storage
One thing is written to your browser’s session storage: a flag remembering that you asked to load the full 3D version on a small screen. It holds the single character 1, it is never sent anywhere, and it is discarded when you close the tab. Nothing else is stored, and no cookie is used.
Third-party requests
None. The fonts are named in the stylesheet and fall back to system fonts rather than being fetched. The 3D rendering library is served from this site, not from a CDN. Illustration is generated as SVG at build time. If you open a studio page, the only request made is for a file on this site.
The contact form
The contact form validates your input in the browser and then stops. It has no action and no endpoint: pressing send does not transmit anything, and there is no inbox behind it. That is deliberate, and it is stated on the form itself.
External links
Where this site links out, it links to general references rather than to products. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this site has no control over.
Children
This site is not directed at children. It contains safety information about sharp tools, stored mechanical energy and toxic dye chemicals that is written for adults working in a workshop.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version number in the footer changes with it. The current version is 1.0.0.
Contact
Questions about this policy can go through the contact page, with the same caveat that nothing is actually transmitted.
